About

Originally a micro pub in the old fire station overlooking the canal basin. Created as a chill-out zone, lots of wood and dark colours create a relaxing atmosphere. Three hand pumps offer ever-changing beers and the eight craft keg beers are from independent breweries. A lovely sun-trap of a beer garden awaits, heated and covered in winter. Very handy for Council Car park. Open 7 days a week from 9am with a new coffee and tea menu in place. The "Big Mess" in the rear offers a venue for live music, some free and some ticketed, see Facebook page for details. Open Mic 2nd Thursday of the month and Cheese 'n' Vinyl are Sundays 3-6pm.
