About

This micro-pub gives a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors. Deriving its name from the nearby former trolleybus terminus. With its décor reflecting Conisbrough history it has a large photo wall picturing eight local men who all joined up to serve in WW1 on the same day. There are four rotating cask ales available, usually sourced from local breweries, although the occasional beer from further afield will appear. Wines and spirits are also available, but no shots or cocktails. Winner of Camra Pub of the Season Winter 2023/2024. Dogs are welcomed, having their own treats jar on bar Children are welcomed until 7pm. A self contained apartment (The Terminus Loft) above the pub is available for holiday lets. There is one small step into the pub, but once in it does have an accessible toilet. It is 2 minutes walk to a bus stop, 10 minutes walk to Conisbrough Castle and 20 minutes to Conisborough station and the Trans Pennine Trail, or there is a public car park next door. Usually closed on Monday and Tuesday, but may open for occasional one off events in the future. Note that the premises license is for last orders/entry at 9.30pm
