Club with over 1,000 members, located in the centre of the town. Three cask ales always available and there's beer festivals twice a year in the adjoining art deco style former cinema. The same area also houses the regular live music events and small music events are held in the area adjacent to the bar. The walls of the seating area are adorned with wooden plaques for many military regiments, and there is also a very impressive display of military medals, some won by former and current club members. CAMRA members are admitted up to 6 times a year, and must sign in. Guests pay a small premium on prices, but even so these are comparable to local pub prices. Adjacent to the bar area is a large seating area with pool table, bar billiard table and dart boards. Outdoor seating to the front and rear of the club
