Starbeck’s first micropub opened in April 2023, it is located in a converted shop that has had multiple uses over the years. The left-hand side is taken up by an L-shaped counter while the remaining space is largely for vertical drinking with seating at stools and some tables and chairs. Shelves on the right-hand side display a range of bottled beers mostly from Germany and Belgium, cans from local breweries plus local wines and artisanal gins. There is an office themed mural on one wall. Two pairs of handpumps on the bar counter serve LocAle cask ales from Harrogate breweries, Daleside and Rooster's, and Turning Point from Knaresborough, often including a dark. Cask ale prices are displayed on a mini blackboard on the bar top. Note that 'Last Orders' is at 8.30 and ‘Time’ is called at 8.45pm. NB. Card payments only.
