Opened on February 2024, this is a second taphouse for Wrexham based Magic Dragon Brewery. Eight handpumps dispense six beers and two ciders. It is expected to have four Magic Dragon beers on and one or two guests sourced from small breweries nationally. In addition, the are 12 keg taps on the wall behind the bar and Magic Dragon's own lager on a keg fount on the bar. Situated in a former shop, the interior is fairly small with wooden floors and minimalist decor. A discount is offered to CAMRA members for cask real ales and Magic Dragon keg Obsidian Stout. Live music is to be held monthly and other events such as beer tasting nights are likely. Note that although there are two handpumps reserved for cider, see descriptions for details. Buses stop in Tesco's car park which is a short walk away. A worthy addition to the local pub scene.
