Named after a local landmark this is a new free house and cafe, in proprietor's words, "for mature and cultivated guests" - over 30s only, serving 'cask ales, fine wines, draught beers and ciders'. There is also a dress code ie gentlemen must wear sleeved attire. Although food is not served, you are welcome to bring in a takeaway to eat with your drink. Public parking is nearby and a garden is planned for the rear of the pub.
