A smart new conversion of former shop premises opened in September 2024, with the bar in the front room serving various seating options and a rear room at a higher level. The toilet has level access on the ground floor. Four cask beers are offered; two of the handpumps feature beers from Seven Bro7hers and Northern Whisper, with guest beers from a range of mostly regional breweries on the other two. A loyalty card scheme for cask ales gives a tenth pint for free upon collection of nine stamps. The draught Schneider Helles and Weiss are rarities in the area, while the 'tap wall' has imported US Pabst lager, Belgian Delirium Red, Hogan's cider and a selection of Marble, Northern Whisper and Seven Bro7hers craft beers. There is an interesting range of imported and British craft bottles and cans in the refrigerator located by the bar.
