Beer Scoring
Bar in converted shop premises in Romiley town centre, opened in late 2024. Single room with bar at the back and on the left-hand side are seating booths, reminiscent of horses' stalls, in line with the race-horse theme throughout. Six handpumps devoted to real ale, the house ale is Odin from Brightside, the other five vary, but there is always something dark. Four real ciders from Sheppy's. 20p discount on real ale and real cider for CAMRA Members (10p on halves). Six fonts including two further ciders, and craft lagers from the UK and the Continent. Also good selection of Belgium and German bottled beers. The owners, the Maynell brothers Anthony and Martin, along with father Dave, part own the Samuel Oldknow in Marple. Further seating on pavement in front.
