Micropub opened in December 2025 and occupying part of renowned former furniture shop, Mounts, hence the pub name. Although a single, quite small room, the pub has two distinct feels - a relaxed 'loungey' space as you enter then, up a couple of steps, a more simply appointed area round the bar. It's tastefully decorated throughout. The three real ales will be from Yorkshire breweries and there are also interesting quality keg offerings. In recent years, the town of Royston has been bereft of real ale so this is a hugely welcome venture.
