A Swiss style mountain lodge hotel, that has a bar and restaurant which is open to non-residents such as locals, walkers, mountain bikers or just those passing by. Set in the heart of the beautiful Afan Forest on the main A4107 road through the valley. It is on the side of a large embankment above the valley floor. The Hotel is open for morning coffees and breakfasts through to post ride pints and evening meals. Opened by new owners in February 2026, it has been refurbished in a light modern and comfortable style and is already becoming a very popular destination venue. The large bar and Restaurant are located below road level, accessed by a separate driveway and a large patio area at the rear. Inside there is a centrally placed bar, with two seating areas either side. The bar has two cask handpumps, with the Ales usually rotating from a couple of local regional breweries plus a couple of rotating craft keg beers.
